June and July was a busy time for us in terms of event sponsorship and it was great to be out there once again, supporting a few fantastic events and causes.
In June we were in Muthaiga playing bowls in support of the Poppy Appeal and the British Legion who continue to make a difference to the lives of many ex-servicemen and women. It was a jolly afternoon with some nail-biting bowls followed by lunch and dancing to the wonderful music of the Hootenanny. We were so please to be a part of it, and we hope our contribution goes some way to making a small difference.
July took us up to Gilgil and onto the polo pitch to support the Kenya Polo International, Kenya v´s Zambia. It was 2 days of the very best polo Kenya has to offer and whilst both games were very close luckily for us the Kenyan team came out on top. The event was well attended and well supported, and Manyatta Polo club did a fabulous job in hosting.
After this it was onto Nanyuki for the Mount Kenya Event (Horseshow), which was held at Timau Sports Club and attracted a huge number of competitors and spectators despite the current circumstances. Due to Covid there have been very few Horseshows over the last couple of years and I think everyone was thrilled to be out and competing once again. With our growing presence in Nanyuki this was an important event for us to be a part of and one we were very glad to support. The Mount Kenya Event has several organisations that it supports, and our contribution will allow them to be able to do that.
We are thrilled that we have seen several events back on the calendar this year and we hope it will continue like this. It is great to be out and about, re-connecting with clients, getting to know new prospects and supporting great causes.
