New Wording on Storm, Flood and Tempest losses.

We recently updated you on market changes regarding flood, storm, and tempest claims, including the introduction of the new 0.01% rate and stricter excesses, which took effect on 1st April 2025.

We also mentioned particularly harsh penalties for those who made a claim or were located near a waterway. These changes have since been postponed and, for now, no decisions have been made. We will keep you informed if we hear anything further.

Please note, however, that the market has been required to impose new wording related to these perils, which will replace any previous wording from your next renewal date. We will remind you at your next renewal, but for now, the wording has changed to the following:
