‘Chocks Away!’- Premier Aviation is here

By Jeremy Clayton

After two years of hard work, we are delighted to announce the addition of JWS Premier Aviation to our bespoke, market leading suite of Insurance Products.

We started out on this latest journey at home here in Kenya, engaging with local underwriters. Aviation Insurance is a complex subject, and potential losses can be significant. Capacity for such losses may not always be available in the local market. After several discussions it was evident that getting the required level of security we needed for our Aviation clients, was most likely going to come from a combination of local and international insurers.

What we needed was a simple and seamless local policy with a globally backed Insurer. We have such a solution here in Kenya, all under one roof. Allianz Insurance Company of Kenya Ltd providing the local solution that we must have to adhere to regulatory requirements, backed up by the parent company in London, Allianz Global Corporate & Speciality PLC (AGCS).

I am sure everyone knows the Allianz brand – they are all over our screens in Formula One, and many other sporting events. With over 86 million customers spread across 70 countries, they currently insure wholly, or partially, more aircraft than any other Insurer in the World.

That is “Peace of Mind”.

So, having got the best insurers lined up, what does Premier Aviation offer you?

Well, we can insure all fixed or rotor winged aircraft up to $5m hull value (more can be underwritten separately), and we can provide up to $25m of legal liability. We have total confidence in the rating and as an introductory offer, Allianz have confirmed they will beat any premium that is offered, subject to satisfactory underwriting information.

The policy wording is internationally recognised but the policy is locally issued, with a local claims service, and to complete the package you have the JW Seagon team to support you. We are very excited about introducing you to our scheme and hope that you will welcome it as much as we have.
